Huis Ten Bosch

Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park in Nagasaki Prefecture that recreates the Netherlands by displaying real size copies of old Dutch buildings. The name Huis Ten Bosch literally translates into English as "House in the Forest". It is named after Huis ten Bosch Palace, one of the four official residences of the Dutch Royal Family, located in The Hague in the Netherlands.

The park features many Dutch-style buildings such as hotels, villas, theatres, museums, shops and restaurants, along with canals, windmills, amusement rides and a park planted in seasonal flowers. Huis Ten Bosch, which opened in March 1992, is located on Hario Island in the southern part of Sasebo, facing Omura Bay. Its location reflects historical relations between the Netherlands and Japan, which began in 1609 when a trading post was opened by the Dutch in Hirado, not far from Sasebo.

The park is open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. (9.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. from December to February). A day "passport" ticket, covering entry and a number of attractions within the park costs 5,600 yen for adults and 4,400 yen for children.

World Largest Indoor Water Park: Seagaia Ocean Dome, Miyazaki, Japan

Look At the Size of The DOME!!!

Indoor Beach

Nowadays the weather is getting hotter and hotter already. Especially during summer in Japan. You wouldn't want to stay in Japan during the summer break. The hot will burn your skin off. But thanks to ultra super advance technology that Japan has, they have build a massive indoor water park called Ocean Dome measuring 300m in length and 100 meters in width.

Just look at the giant size of the dome and the amount of people it can hold inside. Japan uses its advance technology to create flame splitting volcano, high technology wave machinery and crush marble sand. The sad part about the sad however is that its not real sand brought from the beach but its an alternative sand that resembles the real one. This type of sand doesn't stick to the body as much as the real sand does.

Another special thing about this dome is the retractable roof. On sunny days, the roof will be open but on less sunny days, its close. But even if its close, the ceiling will provide you with a perfect blue sky and the temperature inside the dome is always kept at hot but not too hot 30 Celsius and the water temperature at 28 Celsius. So do not worry when it comes to summer in Japan because there is always a destination for you that you can enjoy yourself.

Changzhou Dinosaur Park

Dinosaur Park

The Changzhou Dinosaur Park is a huge dino-themed amusement park in the city of Changzhou. The theme park has Six-Flags-type large-scale amusement rides, entertainment shows, a water park (July/August), playgrounds, a dinosaur museum and of course, scale replicas of dinosaurs.
Something fun for everyone in the family regardless of age. Older adults who have trouble walking can rent a scooter. The feeling were as close as it comes to hanging out with real dinosaurs. A good place that i recommend to visit if you happen to plan your trip to Changzhou, China.

Water park open in July and August make going in summer months bearable.

Reaching much further back in history than the rest of Jiangsu's sights, the Changzhou Dinosaur Park is a fun introduction to the science and natural history of dinosaurs. It's a combination of exhibits on dinosaurs and amusement park style rides and games.

The dinosaur theme continues throughout the park - its roller coasters and other fairground attractions all use dinosaur motives so that the person that goes onto the ride can feel the thrill of riding the real dinosaur.

COMING SOON : World Biggest Theme Park in DUBAI

Artist Impression On DUBAI Theme Park

WORLD BIGGEST EVER THEME PARK ON THE RISE!!!

The world's biggest collection of cartoon character and thrill ride theme parks is to be built in the desert in Dubai.

Legoland yesterday became the latest to sign up for Dubailand, a vast playground of theme parks and attractions on a tract of desert which, when completed, will be bigger than Singapore.

A total of 26 projects will make up the $60bn project, with separate theme parks also planned for Marvel Super Heroes (Spiderman, Incredible Hulk), Dreamworks (Shrek) and Universal Studios.

Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob the Builder will also have their own parks, with US-based thrill ride park Six Flags also opening outside America for the first time. The colossal project will be twice the size of Disney World in Florida, currently the world's biggest theme park.

Work has already started on Dubailand, with an Ernie Els-designed golf course and three polo fields completed. A new cricket stadium opens in August, then works starts in earnest on the world's first uber theme park.

"From December 2010, we will be opening a theme park every six months," said marketing director Ahmed Tag Eldeen at a conference in Dubai yesterday.

The scale of the project is staggering, with only Las Vegas capable of building on such a scale. Jurassic and Formula 1 theme parks are also planned, as is a wheel bigger than the London Eye and a lifesize replica of the Eiffel Tower.

A huge sports stadium and Tiger Woods golf club are also planed – but you only get to play if you buy a villa (from $2m). All will be marketed as Dubailand, with a new rail link being built from Dubai's centre.

Dubai even promises some culture, with the opening of the Islamic Culture and Science building.

The project is the culmination of increased efforts to double tourism to Dubai. Last year, more than 7.7m tourists visited, but Dubai expects 15m to visit by 2015. More than 20,000 hotel rooms will be built on site, along with thousands of shops and restaurants.

The Emirate also wants to boost the amount of time visitors spend in Dubai – currently only 2.8 days. Tourism now accounts for 19 per cent of Dubai's revenue, a figure expected to increase to 35 per cent by 2020.

Only Disney is excluded in the whole big project but according to Dubai, they are open if Disney wanted to join in the party.
